Welcome to Learnography, the groundbreaking science of knowledge transfer and brain-based classroom design. I am Shiva Narayan, a retired school principal, lifelong educator, and the developer of System Learnography and Brainpage Theory. These are innovative frameworks that challenge traditional education and empower students to become active learners and knowledge creators.
A Life Dedicated to Brain-Based Knowledge Transfer
I spent nearly 40 years in the classroom as a science teacher, math teacher and school leader. My experiences taught me that the conventional period teaching system – where teachers talk and students listen – often slows the natural flow of learning. This realization led me on a mission, which was guided by the own working mechanisms of learner's brain. Active learning was focused to transform passive education into direct knowledge transfer from book to brain.
Foundational Work in Learnography
Learnography is not just an alternative to teaching. This is a complete school system framework based on neuroscience, motor science, and visuo-spatial learning.
I have developed core structures such as:

Brainpage Theory: Heart of Direct Learning
At the center of learnography is transfer books, neural dimensions and brainpage theory. This approach activates specific regions of the brain for knowledge transfer, deep learning and motor skill acquisition – particularly the association cortices, cerebellar circuitry and basal ganglia of brain.
Brainpage maps and modules are created through cyclozeid rehearsals and motor practice, converting the book content of learnography into neural knowledge maps.
This system shifts the primary source of learning from the teacher to the transfer book, and the target from classroom performance to student brain-based learning development. In this model, students become Taxshila Teachers – skilled in teamwork, peer-to-peer brainpage sharing, reciprocal learning and classroom leadership.
Laws of Learnodynamics
My research introduced the Laws of Learnodynamics, the driving principles of learning energy, brain modulation, and transfer efficiency.
These laws explain how verbal and motor knowledge transfers differ in academic learning, and why motor science is more effective in building long-term memory and problem-solving skills.
My Vision: Knowledge Transfer for All
The future of education must embrace the direct school system – where learning is self-initiated, book-driven and brain-focused.

Education runs on the period teaching system of transfer learning in schools. Learnography is a new approach to school system including pre-trained students and structured classroom, based on the neuroscience of knowledge transfer. Pre-trained students are small teachers called taxshila teachers. Brainpage school runs on the system of big teachers and small teachers.
Knowledge Transfer and Brainpage Theory in School System
Brainpage theory emphasizes the development of brainpage modules from book to brain knowledge transfer. These modules are structured in spatial learnography with the interconnected blocks of knowledge contents and definitions. Brainpage construction facilitates efficient learning and knowledge retrieval in topic writing.
Through extensive research and practical application, we have devised innovative academic models to facilitate effective knowledge transfer. Our models include the School of Taxshila Teachers, Architecture of School 2020, Structured Classroom and Miniature Schools, all designed to create immersive and engaging learning environments in school ecosystem.
Laws of Learnodynamics for Transfer Learning
We have also explored the laws of learnodynamics, which govern the dynamics of motor science, cognitive science, knowledge acquisition and retention.
By understanding these laws, school leaders can optimize knowledge transfer strategies, and create tailored transfer learning experiences that maximize student outcomes in learnography and brainpage direct school system.
One Day One Book School System
Our latest innovation is the One Day One Book School System, a groundbreaking approach where classrooms revolve around the direct transfer of knowledge from carefully designed brainpage transfer books. This system encourages student's active engagement, critical thinking, and a profound understanding of the subject matter.
At learnography and brainpage theory, we continuously investigate the dimensions of knowledge transfer. These learning dimensions encompasses verbal and motor knowledge transfer, to ensure comprehensive and holistic learning experiences for active students.
We believe in the power of direct transfer learning, where knowledge is directly absorbed from books to the brain, fostering a deep connection between learning materials and the learner's mind.
Brain-Based Knowledge Transfer Techniques
This is Shiva Narayan, a retired school principal and the developer of learnography and brainpage theory. I have proposed School of Taxshila Teachers, Architecture of School 2020, Structured classroom and Miniature schools, and One day One Book School System.
I spent almost 40 years in the classroom as a science teacher, math teacher and a school principal. I have also worked on the laws of learnodynamics, the math dimensions of knowledge transfer, verbal knowledge transfer and motor knowledge transfer.
Verbal knowledge transfer is conducted in the indirect school of teaching system, while the direct school runs on the motor circuitry knowledge transfer of brainpage theory.

Learnography: A Revolutionary Approach to School System
Obviously, system learnography runs on the facts and findings of neurological studies, developed for the school system of transfer learning and brainpage retention. In system learnography, students are trained and produced as small teachers in school system.
In education system, a teacher is the primary source of transfer learning. The primary source has been changed in new approach. A school book is the primary transfer source of knowledge modules, and student’s brain is the transfer target of learning and sharing.
In learnography, students are pre-trained in the dimensions of knowledge transfer to transform them into small teachers called taxshila teachers.
Knowledge transfer to student’s brain is very slow in the period teaching system of education. Whole education should be finished at 20 years of the age and also students must be free and qualified to work after the age of 20 years. This is the architecture of School 2020.
Learnography Goes Beyond Conventional Education Models
The period teaching system of education model is not very effective in the transfer learning of traditional classroom. Learnography is a new frontier of neuroscience and future education. The working mechanism of student’s brain is crucial to the success of classroom performance and academic outcomes.
Brainpage school is also my creation in which classrooms run on book to brain direct transfer learning, not on period teaching system. Pre-trained students take part in classroom learning transfer, and small teachers are produced in school system. They make the spatial brainpage of knowledge transfer in the classroom and understand the topic, content and concept of subject matter from brainpage modules.
